The purpose of this course is to learn and
practice facilitation techniques you need to know to effectively
lead project teams. You will learn how to run effective team
meetings, how to successfully launch a project in a one day
meeting, and how to facilitate project disaster recovery
sessions. You will learn techniques that enable your project
team to fully contribute, buy into the work required to complete
the project objectives, identify and prioritize project
requirements, establish the constraints, understand the business
case of the project, develop a risk management strategy,
identify and use best practices to create the project
deliverables, define key project milestones, co-create the
schedule based on deliverable dependencies, establish the costs
and tradeoffs of the project budget, and take accountability for
their responsibilities on the project. You leave with a
facilitation toolkit that enables you to take a project team
from confusion to consensus in a matter of hours.
